Justine Pissott was selected by the Indiana Fever with the No. 25 overall pick in the second round of the 2026 WNBA Draft. Although Pissott has yet to appear in a regular-season game for Indiana, the 6-foot-4 guard appeared in a 2026 WNBA preseason game, a 109-91 win over the New York Liberty on April 25.
Pissott played 10 minutes, scoring eight points and securing one rebound and one assist. The 22-year-old showed a promising shooting stroke, going 2-for-3 from behind the arc while making both of her free throws. The Red Bank Catholic High School graduate was originally ranked as the No. 11 overall recruit in the 2022 women's college basketball recruiting class.

Pissott is currently on a player development contract with the Fever. WNBA teams can deploy these contracts to provide supplemental roster spots for two players with fewer than four years of service or fewer than six years with limited prior minutes. Opposing teams can poach these players by offering them an offer sheet for a standard roster spot.
It appears that this is the case for Pissott, as on Tuesday, IndyStar Sports' Chloe Peterson reported that the Las Vegas Aces tendered an offer sheet to the New Jersey native. Peterson also reported that Pissott signed the offer sheet. The move puts Indiana in a bind, as the Fever now have 24 hours to cut a player to retain Pissott or face losing her to the 2025 WNBA champions.
Las Vegas will also need to cut a player to make room if the transaction goes through. The Aces are looking for Pissott to assist head coach Becky Hammon and A'ja Wilson in their pursuit of back-to-back titles. Las Vegas currently holds the tiebreaker over the Minnesota Lynx for the best record in the WNBA (15-6).
"Per the WNBA transactions page," Peterson wrote on X. "The Las Vegas Aces have tendered an offer sheet to Fever dev player Justine Pissott. The Fever have just 24 hours to respond (via putting her on the standard roster) before she heads to the Aces."
Indiana will head to Crypto.com Arena to face the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET.
