The LSU Tigers landed a big commitment via the transfer portal on Friday.
According to On3/Rivals' Hayes Fawcett, LSU has landed a commitment from former Ohio State safety Faheem Delane. He will have three seasons of eligibility left.
Delane finished the 2025 season with 12 total tackles in five games. Delane was a high four-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting class and the second-best recruit in Maryland, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He was also the fifth-best safety recruit in the nation and the No. 55 overall recruit.
Delane will now try to be a difference-maker for the defense with an LSU program that is trying to take a step forward in 2026 under new head coach Lane Kiffin.
