The 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup continued on Sunday, with two Round of 16 games. Norway topped Brazil in a thrilling contest in New Jersey. Sunday night, England takes on Mexico at Azteca in Mexico City.
U.S. soccer legend Landon Donovan was on the call of the Norway vs. Brazil game in New Jersey. Norway star Erling Haaland scored two goals, continuing his dominance on the world stage, as he helped his country reach the quarterfinals.

Donovan, meanwhile, has made it clear that so many of his non-soccer fan friends have changed their opinion on the sport during the World Cup.
"My golf friends a month ago: The World Cup is cool but I just don’t see myself ever getting into it that much. My golf friends today: Norway really benefitted from using Odegaard tilted right in the half space to help open space for Haaland and Sorloth 🤣🤣🤣," he joked.
