Lamine Yamal and Spain are set to play Belgium in the 2026 World Cup quarterfinals at the Los Angeles Stadium.
Spain is one of the favorites to win the competition, and they will play the unbeaten Belgium, who arrive at the game with lots of confidence following their 4-1 win over the USMNT in the Round of 16.
Yamal will look to help Spain reach the semifinals of the World Cup for the first time since the 2010 World Cup, where they won the competition.
Another reason for Yamal to reach the semifinal and go far in the competition is his girlfriend Ines Garcia, who has supported the player throughout the tournament so far.

Yamal was given a special request by his girlfriend for the tournament itself. Garcia wants Yamal and Spain to reach the World Cup final, but not solely because of the football aspect of it.

Two days ago, FIFA announced that Justin Bieber will be a part of the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show with Madonna, Shakira, and BTS. The halftime show is expected to last more than 15 minutes during halftime of the World Cup final on July 19.
On Instagram, Garcia expressed her excitement about the news and sent a message to Yamal and Spain in hopes of reaching the final, suggesting that the goal for her is to watch Justin Bieber perform live at the New York/New Jersey Stadium on July 19.
Garcia reposted Justin Bieber's Instagram post on her Instagram story and wrote, "My love, do whatever it takes to make the [World Cup] final. Do you hear me??? WHATEVER IT TAKES."
