Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is questionable to return to Sunday’s Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans with an ankle injury. It’s a new issue for Jackson, who came off the injury report Friday after a back problem limited him in practice earlier in the week.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter passed along the update during the game.
“Lamar Jackson is questionable to return vs. the Titans today due to an ankle injury,” Schefter posted on X.
The Ravens led 24-7 in the third quarter as of this writing. We don’t know how serious the injury is, but any ankle problem is worth watching closely for a quarterback who does so much damage with his legs.
Lamar Jackson injury update

We’ll update this post as soon as the Ravens announce whether Jackson can return.
He was having a big day before the injury. Jackson went 16 of 21 for 227 yards and two touchdown passes in the first half, hitting Zay Flowers from 19 yards out and Mark Andrews from 3.
Jackson came into Sunday with 745 passing yards, four touchdown passes and one interception through three games, along with 124 rushing yards and a score on the ground.
The back issue didn’t cost him much time. He was limited Wednesday, practiced in full Thursday and was cleared Friday, and there’s no indication the ankle injury is related.
Who is the Ravens’ backup quarterback?
Tyler Huntley is next in line. Baltimore re-signed him in March to be Jackson’s backup and released Cooper Rush two days later.
The Ravens were already shorthanded on Sunday. Outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson was ruled out before the game with a finger injury, and centers Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic are both on injured reserve.
Baltimore visits the Atlanta Falcons next Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
