Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson isn’t going to run away from the pressure of being on a “Super Bowl or bust” team, that’s for sure.
Jackson, a two-time MVP, missed four games for the Ravens last season due to injury. He finished his 2025 season with 2,549 passing yards, 349 rushing yards and 23 total touchdowns. When healthy for all 17 games, he’s capable of putting up video game numbers for Baltimore’s offense.
With the 2026 season set to begin this Wednesday, reporters asked Jackson to define what would be considered a successful year for the Ravens under first-year head coach Jesse Minter brought and offensive coordinator Declan Doyle.
Jackson simply replied: “Winning it all.”
Suffice to say, anything short of a Super Bowl ring this season will be considered a failure for Jackson.

While on “The Lounge” podcast earlier this month, Ravens running back Derrick Henry talked about wanting to win a Super Bowl with Jackson as his quarterback.
“It would be crazy for me to say I played with Lamar Jackson and we didn’t win no championships,” Henry said. “I cannot have that. I do not want that to be a thing. We’ve got to do it.”
Henry continued: “I just want to be able to feel that feeling. I’m tired of watching. Every year, I’m tired of being at home on the couch watching. I want to be a part of it. That’s what’s motivating me right now. I’m going to keep going until we get to that point. We have the 2026 season to get that accomplished.”
The Ravens certainly have the talent to win the Super Bowl this season, but they need to prove they can get past their hiccups in the playoffs. They’ll begin their 2026 campaign against the Indianapolis Colts.
