The MLS returns tonight, and the West Coast will see another California clash between LAFC and San Diego FC at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
LAFC and San Diego play each other in the MLS after both teams played in the 2026 Leagues Cup. After three matches each, LAFC and San Diego FC were eliminated from the Leagues Cup as both teams did not finish in the top four positions of the MLS Leagues Cup table.
LAFC finished on seven points after one win and two draws (two penalty shootout wins), and San Diego FC finished on six points after two wins and one loss.
LAFC drew 1-1 with Club Queretaro and won the penalty shootout 5-3, but it was not enough for a top-four position in the MLS Leagues Cup table. San Diego FC defeated Club Puebla 3-2, and it also wasn't enough.

This is the second time LAFC and San Diego FC face off in the MLS this year after playing each other back in May. The match in May ended in a 2-2 draw at Snapdragon Stadium.

LAFC vs. San Diego FC will kick off at 10:30 p.m. ET/ 7:30 p.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. local time at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
The match will be available to watch in the United States through a select streaming service but not on TV channels.
