Kylie Cantrall isn’t expecting to receive a World Series ring, but she wants some credit for the Milwaukee Brewers taking down the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Brewers captured their first World Series title on Wednesday, defeating the Rays 4-1 in Game 5 at Tropicana Field. Cooper Pratt drove in two runs for the Brewers and Trevor Megill slammed the door shut with two innings of relief duty.
“It’s the best feeling ever. All of our fans are here. I know the city’s waited a long, long time for this,” said Brewers captain Christian Yelich postgame. “We’re so happy to bring it home to them.”

Judging by her social media activity on Wednesday night, Kylie Cantrall was fired up about the Brewers winning the World Series.
Cantrall shared a photo of her sporting a Brewers jersey along with the caption: “@brewers happy i could b your good luck charm for game 2 😉 thx for having meee @mlb.”
Good luck charm for the Brewers?
Cantrall, 21, had the honor of performing the national anthem for Game 2 of the World Series.
The Brewers overcame a 4-0 deficit in Game 2 to defeat the Rays and take a commanding 2-0 series lead. Despite a hiccup in Game 4, Pat Murphy’s squad never showed any signs of nerves in the biggest series of their lives.
Congratulations to the Brewers on an incredible championship run.
