On the heels of her husband, 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, receiving a $14,926 fine for pantomiming taking a drink, social media darling Kristin Juszczyk decided to make a response in a way only she could.
Taking to Instagram, Kristin and Kyle made a little video of Kyle repeatedly juicing oranges as the two of them stare into the camera. The in-video caption was “$14,926 glass of juice.”
“Kyle’s got a drinking problem,” Kristin wrote in the description.
Fans absolutely loved the dig at the NFL:
“Isn’t it ironic the NFL will fine you for a ‘alcohol drinking gesture’ but SELLS ALCOHOL IN ABUNDANCE AT EVERY STADIUM,” one user on X wrote.
“Crazy to fine him for the act of ‘chugging a beer’ when bud light is the official beer of the NFL,” wrote another.
“Next time he scores, can someone please actually bring him a juice box on the field? Please. I beg,” a third wrote.
“I’m cracking up because I love how you’re making jokes of it. They just want to fine him for something.”
“Need to set up a juice stand at the games. $1 a box and proceeds go towards paying the ridiculous fine.”

Drinking “Juice”
As soon as fans learned about Juszczyk’s punishment, many quickly called out the NFL for both hypocrisy and lack of evidence.
Many pointed out that it’s not right for the league to punish a player for pretending to drink beer since the league sells alcohol in games and advertises it everywhere.
Others pointed out that the NFL can’t prove that Juszczyk was specifically making an “alcoholic drink gesture” and not a “drinking a glass of juice gesture.” Juszczyk’s nickname is “Juice,” for what it’s worth.
Hopefully the NFL rescinds the fine, but it’s policy seems clear.
