OG Anunoby was one of the most impactful players for the New York Knicks' 108-102 Game 2 win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. However, Anunoby hobbled off the court with 2:31 left and did not finish the game.
The star forward had 24 points, five rebounds and four steals. His two-way play gave New York the much-needed energy to win take a 2-0 lead in the series. All-Star guard Jalen Brunson added 26 points and six assists on 9-for-21 shooting.
With about three minutes left in the fourth quarter, Anunoby hopped on his left leg as he grabbed the backside of his right thigh. He played through the pain but missed a dunk attempt. The Knicks forward stayed on the floor for a while but signaled to the bench to be taken out after Mikal Bridges knocked down a midrange jumper.

During the Knicks' postgame presser, head coach Mike Brown was asked about what happened to Anunoby. However, Brown did not have a clear update.
"I haven't talked to anybody. He looked like he was hopping. I have not talked to medical yet," Brown said.
Brunson was also asked about what he knew about Anunoby's injury.
"I'll cross that bridge when we get to it. I don't know too much," the star guard said (via Knicks Videos).
Anunoby has been a major part of the team's success this postseason. In Game 1 against the 76ers, he had 18 points and three rebounds in a 137-98 blowout win.
In the first round against the Atlanta Hawks, Anunoby had three games where he scored at least 20 points. In Game 6, he had a team-high 29 points on very efficient 66.7% 3-point shooting, along with seven rebounds and four steals. During that six-game stretch, the 28-year-old forward averaged 21.5 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.8 steals, shooting 56.7% from long range.
The series shifts to Philadelphia for Game 3 on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
