Kevin Love's wife, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit legend Kate Bock, isn't waiting until summer in the United States to soak up the sun.
In 2013, Love was named the SI Swimsuit Rookie of the Year. Seven years later, she was featured on the cover of the iconic magazine. Her most recent work was in the "60th Anniversary Legends" photo shoot.
"I just remember meeting [editor] MJ [Day] and talking about our hopes and dreams and goals while telling jokes. We just really got along and it was such a good feeling. I remember getting the call that I was booked to appear in the issue," she said, via Fox News Digital. "I was in the car with my cousin and sister. I think I started screaming. I had to pull over because I was shaking and didn’t know what to do with myself. Then I got to shoot my first issue. Then I won Rookie of the Year and I really couldn’t believe that. It’s been eight years, which is crazy. I’ve traveled all over the world -- Easter Island, Costa Rica, Blackberry Farm in Tennessee and now Bali. It’s been an incredible journey. But finally earning the cover just feels like a huge reward."

Although it's unclear if Love will appear in the 2026 edition of SI Swimsuit, she seems ready for the opportunity.
Earlier this week, Love shared several swimsuit photos on Instagram along with the caption: "In my element."
Unsurprisingly, this post from Love received plenty of attention from her 992,000 followers.
When did Kate and Kevin meet?
Kate and Kevin's love story started in 2015 when they met at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. By June 2022, they tied the knot at the New York City Public Library.
“The city is so much a part of our story and it felt so right to bring all of our favorite people together into such an iconic New York City institution,” Bock told PEOPLE. “Kevin and I are both very curious people and love literature, art, and history and the New York Public Library encompasses all of that in such a romantic setting. It evokes the old-school New York glamour we were searching for and is so iconic to the city that we love. We also love that it is so close by to the place we had our first date — the St. Regis Hotel.”
Since getting married in 2022, Kate and Kevin have welcomed two children into the world. They'll have plenty of time for a family vacation after the NBA season ends.
