Kevin Durant is enjoying life with the Houston Rockets. The two-time NBA champion continues to average 25.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists on elite shooting splits. The fact that he's still making 50.6% of his nearly 18 shot attempts per game is nothing short of incredible.
While the Western Conference is still full of strong squads, his team still has a shot at making a deep postseason run. Durant has a strong team behind him, with Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson proving to be reliable pillars for Houston.
While Durant finds scoring as easy as breathing, he always finds time to pursue off-court passions. When not filming hilarious commercials, he's sometimes sitting with some of the greatest players of the game.
In his most recent sit-down, he was shocked to find out about a trade that would have changed the complexion of the NBA forever.

Kevin Durant Amazed at Potential '80s Rockets Super Team
Durant sat down with Rockets legend Hakeem Olajuwon for a Boardroom video to talk about hoops and life. One of the most interesting bits of the interview was when Durant asked The Dream about a potential trade that would have happened in the 1984 Draft.
The Blazers were reportedly interested in trading the second overall pick for a proven scorer. The Rockets were also interested in moving up to get a reliable scorer to pair alongside Olajuwon.
The supposed trade would send Ralph Sampson, a player that had a solid rookie season with the Rockets, to the Blazers for Clyde Drexler and the second overall pick.
The second overall pick of the 1984 NBA Draft would have been Michael Jordan to the Houston Rockets.
Durant couldn't believe the team that would have been built in Houston if the deal pushed through.
"That draft, it would have been you, Jordan and Clyde?" Durant asked, to which Olajuwon replied, "I heard that afterwards. I didn't know about that."
Durant then responded, "Oh my goodness. That'd have been 10, 12 championships. Greatest team of all time."
To be fair, a lineup featuring Drexler, Olajuwon and Jordan would have been scary for any team.
It's also worth wondering how many championships the team would have won had it happened. Unfortunately, fans can only wonder.
Still, Jordan with the Bulls gave the NBA one of the most historic dynasties in the history of the game.
