If Otega Oweh's magical season at Kentucky is going to end, it's going to be on his terms.
No. 10 Santa Clara thought it had an upset over No. 7 Kentucky in the bag after Allen Graves made a 3-pointer to give his team a 73-70 lead with two seconds remaining. However, Oweh wouldn't be denied a chance for glory.
Oweh, a two-time All-SEC guard, raced up the court and made an incredibly deep 3-pointer to tie the game.

This game-tying shot gave Oweh over 30 points on the afternoon. He came into the NCAA Tournament averaging 18.2 points per game.
As you'd imagine, CBS broadcasters Spero Dedes and Jim Spanarkel were in awe of Oweh's shot.

As you'd imagine, countless fans raved about Oweh's game-tying shot against Santa Clara.
"Otega Oweh without a doubt just capitalized the best round of 64 performance I’ve ever seen," one fan said.
"OTEGA OWEH BUILD THE STATUE IN LEXINGTON IF THEY WIN," a Kentucky fan declared.
"OTEGA OWEH. MAJOR AND I MEAN MAJOR ONIONS," another fan wrote.
We'll see if Oweh's shot catapults Kentucky to the second round of the tournament.
