Kelly Stafford, the wife of Los Angeles Rams starting quarterback Matthew Stafford, is facing backlash for an "inappropriate" birthday video at 37 years old.
The 37-year-old wife of the Super Bowl-winning NFL quarterback was seen flipping off the camera and shaking her body in a birthday video shared to her Instagram Story on Sunday, August 2.
"The video (which Kelly posted to her Instagram Story on Sunday) appears to be from one of her friends. It shows Kelly first flipping off the camera," the New York Post shared.
"After that, she began dancing, which included her twirling her right arm like she was holding a lasso. After that, she began shaking her backside for several seconds before breaking into a wide smile and getting right back to her lasso."
Kelly Stafford, who is among the most outspoken WAGs (wives and girlfriends) in the NFL, is known for causing a stir on social media.
However, some fans are calling her out for "inappropriate" behavior, mostly for flipping off the camera, especially as a mother of four young girls."
NFL fans criticize Kelly Stafford's birthday video
"Instant divorce if my wife does this and posts about it," one fan wrote.
"2 days ago she was crying about how much she misses her husband when he's at training camp. It really shows. Nice way for a wife and mom of 4 kids to behave," one fan added.
"She loves the attention," one fan added.
"Being on social media and letting others influence your mental health and actions is not good. Get off social media Ms Stafford and raise your kids," one fan added.
"She just can't stand not being the center of attention.....another embarrassing attempt at relevancy.....what's next a floor cheer with her former cheer team members at Georgia?" one fan added.
Kelly Stafford previously had to leave her podcast for mental health reasons, after facing criticism on social media.
“I wanted to let you guys know that I will be taking a break for about a month,” Kelly said last season. “I’ve just been kind of struggling (with) where I see this thing going. Obviously, I have four daughters and a husband and this podcast is another one of my babies and I love it a lot, but not as much as them. It has been taking more time than I’ve wanted it too. And so, Kyra and I are going to take this month and put our heads together and kind of see where to take it from here.
“As you guys know, I started this podcast to kind of build this community, a community that accepts failure and supports each through it instead of judging. I feel like we can all lean on each other now. I leaned on you guys, i hope that you leaned on this podcast, either for laughter or just to realize that not everything is perfect and it doesn’t have to be.”
