Kay Adams is going out on a limb.
The FanDuel TV host is making a very bold prediction for the Dallas Cowboys’ next four games, as star quarterback Dak Prescott has entered the MVP race. The Cowboys topped the Texans, 34-30, on Sunday. Dallas improved to 2-2 on the season, getting back to .500 before a Thursday night game this week.
Adams, 40, is going out on a limb and making a bold call for the next month of the season for Dallas. She’s predicting that the Cowboys will win their next four games. That would put the Cowboys at 6-2 on the season heading into the second half of the year.
The Cowboys’ next four games:
- vs. Buccaneers
- at Packers
- at Eagles
- vs. Cardinals
“I’m gonna call it right here,” she said.
“They’re gonna win their next four games. I’m feeling hot about the Cowboys. They’re not perfect, they gotta run the ball better. But I think they do get better.”
No one has been playing better quarterback than Dak Prescott as of late, too. The 33-year-old quarterback has thrown for 1,065 yards, eight touchdowns and one interception this season. His 83.3 QBR ranks No. 3 in the NFL.
Colin Cowherd admitted on Sunday night that Prescott is starting to look like the MVP of the league.
It’s a bold prediction, to be sure. The Cowboys haven’t won four straight regular season games since the 2023 season. That year, the Cowboys won five straight games, including six of seven, to get to 10-3 on the year. Dallas would ultimately finish 12-5 that year, before losing to the Green Bay Packers, 48-32, in the playoffs.
The computer models still like the Cowboys a lot, too
The computer model at ESPN, the Football Power Index, is still quite high on the Cowboys.
ESPN’s Football Power Index is predicting that the Cowboys will finish the year at 10.3-6.6, while giving Dallas an 82.3 percent chance to reach the postseason. It gives the Cowboys a 77.7 percent chance to win the division and a 23.3 percent chance to reach the NFC Championship Game.
The Cowboys have close to a 10 percent chance to reach the Super Bowl, with a 4.9 percent chance of winning it all.
