Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are off to a hot 3-0 start this season. Most recently, they defeated the Miami Dolphins in a tough 24-10 game in Week 3, with Mahomes throwing two touchdowns and Kelce making one TD catch in the win.

As the Chiefs enjoy a successful run on the field, though, Mahomes and Kelce also continue to thrive off it.

In fact, Kelce recently gave fans a glimpse of his growing business venture with Mahomes as the two expand their interests away from football. On social media, the star tight end shared an update about the latest national honor that their Kansas City restaurant, 1587 Prime, received.

Just recently, Yelp named Kelce and Mahomes’ 1587 Prime steakhouse the sixth-best new restaurant of 2026. This development comes just a year after the two NFL stars launched the venture at the Loews Kansas City Hotel in 2025.

Yelp considered a number of factors in ranking 1587 Prime among the top new restaurants in the nation, including review volume and average star ratings. As such, the Mahomes-Kelce venture was the only establishment in the Kansas City area to make it to the list.

1587 Prime shared the news on Instagram, and Kelce reposted it on his IG story.

“A Prime year, indeed,” the restaurant wrote. “1587 Prime has been named one of Yelp’s Best New Restaurants of 2026, a recognition made all the more meaningful by the Kansas City community and its continued support.”

It remains to be seen if Mahomes and Kelce can further grow and expand their 1587 restaurant business. Sure enough, just like their 2026 NFL season, their business couldn’t have asked for a better start.
