Kai Trump has officially announced her college major.
The high school senior, who attends The Benjamin School, is committed to playing golf at the University of Miami in 2026. Kai Trump, the granddaughter of President Trump, previously played in an LPGA Tour event, though she didn't make the cut.
She announced her commitment in August of 2024.
"I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami. I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey. I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point. I would like to thank my Grandpa for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support. I would also like to thank my Mormor for always believing in me," she announced.
"I would also like to thank my entire family for always encouraging and pushing me to be the best person I can possibly be. I would like to thank my friends for always cheering me on. Last but not least I would love to thank Coach Janice and Coach Jim for giving me this opportunity. I am supper excited to be a cane and represent the University of Miami. Gooo Canes!"
Kai Trump, who has built up millions of followers on social media, has since revealed what she will be majoring in.
The high school senior will be majoring in marketing and management at the University of Miami.
"I'm very interested in both of those," she explained.
"I want to do that in college, so that's what I'm going to be doing. I think that could also help build my own brand, as well."
Kai Trump has said that she would like to be a YouTuber and social media influencer as a career and she appears to be taking steps toward that.
