Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is getting picked apart online due to a recent interaction with his fiancée, Grammy-nominated singer Madison Beer.
In August 2025, Beer and Herbert sparked romance rumors by spending time together on the set of a music video. The "Bittersweet" singer confirmed those rumors by showing up to several Chargers games last season.
By July 2026, Beer and Herbert announced they're engaged. Beer's mother had a heartfelt response to this exciting news.
“All a mother wants is for her child to be happy,” Tracie Beer wrote. “I’m so elated and fulfilled…my daughter has met the man of her dreams. Such comfort in knowing he will protect and love her forever. Some things are meant to be, and this is certainly one of them!”
One week later, a video of Beer and Herbert having an intimate moment on the practice field surfaced on social media. It didn't take long for NFL fans to roast the Pro Bowl quarterback.
"Zero playoff wins and bro’s canoodling on the field instead of practicing," one person commented.
"I’m happy for him but the moment he has a terrible game there’s gonna be so much slander material," a fan wrote on X.
"They’re trying to be Travis and Taylor so bad," another fan said.
"Zero playoff wins and bro’s treating training camp like it’s Love Island," another social media user added.
The pressure will be on Justin Herbert this season.
There's no question Herbert has the talent to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but his postseason struggles can't be ignored.
In three career playoff games, Herbert has completed 54.7% of his passes with two touchdowns and four interceptions.
