Julio Jones is not buying too much into the noise around Jalen Hurts missing A.J. Brown’s wedding. With Brown’s Eagles future already under heavy speculation, fans quickly noticed Hurts’ apparent absence and started connecting it to the uncertainty around their relationship on and off the field.
But Jones does not think the situation needs to be turned into a bigger drama. In his view, a missed wedding does not automatically mean there is a serious issue between Hurts and Brown, especially with so much already being assumed about Brown’s future in Philadelphia.
Speaking to TMZ in a recent interview Jones said, "These are high profile guys, Jalen probably had things that he had to go do. There’s always going to be speculation when you’re in the limelight.”
While the buzz about Hurts not attending the wedding will die down soon, rumors about Brown and his future is not dying down anytime soon.
A.J. Brown Trade Update
The A.J. Brown situation feels less like a rumor now and more like a matter of timing.
Philadelphia may not be rushing into anything before June 1 because the cap math becomes cleaner after that point. But if the Eagles have already accepted that Brown is unlikely to remain part of the long-term plan, then the focus shifts to maximizing the return.
New England remains the obvious team to watch. The Patriots badly need a proven top receiver, and Brown would give them exactly that. He would walk in as the main weapon in their passing game and immediately raise the ceiling of the offense.
For the Eagles, this is where it gets tricky. Brown is still a major talent, but his age and recent injury concerns could affect what teams are willing to offer. A 2027 first-round pick might be hard to pull off. A 2028 first, or a package built around a second-rounder and another useful piece, feels more realistic.

Kayshon Boutte has been mentioned as a possible player who could be included, though Philadelphia may prefer draft capital instead.
Either way, the Eagles cannot afford to come out of this empty-handed. If Brown is moved, they need assets that help them reshape the roster quickly. For the Patriots, it is simple: if they want a star receiver, this may be their best shot.
