Josh Allen is still trying to lead the Buffalo Bills to glory.

Despite notching at least one postseason win in six straight seasons, the Bills have yet to make the Super Bowl behind their star quarterback. Buffalo suffered another grueling playoff elimination when losing to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional Round.

Allen naturally hasn't forgotten about that latest winter setback. The 2024 MVP explained how he's handled the defeat to ESPN's Kevin Clark.

"We've watched it. We put it in the past, we've learned from it," Allen said of the loss. "We've been in the playoffs a lot of times in the last however many years I've been here now. Just continuing to find ways to learn from it."

Rather than get discouraged, Allen is focused on returning to the playoffs and giving the Bills another opportunity to win a championship.

"It's a hard pill to swallow sometimes because we haven't gotten it done," Allen continued. "But you knock enough at the door, it's going to open at some point. That's what we have to keep doing is keep knocking on that door and giving ourselves chances to be in that situation again."

The Bills have made seven consecutive playoff appearances since Allen's rookie season. Nobody should blame him for falling short of a Super Bowl, as Allen has recorded 29 passing touchdowns, nine rushing touchdowns, six interceptions, and a 101.5 quarterback rating in 15 postseason games.

Yet the latest exit marked Buffalo's third overtime playoff loss during Allen's tenure. It was also the third straight time the Bills were sent packing in a three-point defeat.

With Allen at the helm, the Bills are expected to remain among the NFL's top contenders in 2026. ESPN's Football Power Index assigns them the highest probabilities to make (19.9%) and win (10.7%) the Super Bowl of any AFC team.

Buffalo gave Allen a receiving upgrade in DJ Moore to aid his quest for a title, so the Bills could knock on the door again this season.
