Jordon Hudson appears to be OK with Tom Brady's joke about Bill Belichick over the weekend.
The legendary NFL quarterback made a joke about his former New England Patriots head coach while giving a commencement address to Georgetown's business school graduates in Washington, D.C. Brady jokingly told the graduates to surround themselves with people who will challenge them, even if they're grumpy people who wear cutoff sweatshirts.
"Challenge yourself with ideas that are uncomfortable and people who push you to be your very best, even if one of those people is a cranky old coach who cuts the sleeves off his sweatshirt and screams at you all day," Brady told the group of college graduates.
Hudson, who has acted as a bit of a spokeswoman for Belichick since he left the Patriots for the North Carolina Tar Heels, appears to have OK'd Brady's joke about her much older boyfriend.
The 25-year-old girlfriend of the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach re-posted Brady's joke about Belichick to her social media accounts.
Belichick spoke highly of Brady during a podcast appearance
Belichick, who is entering Year 2 at UNC, recently appeared on Barstool's "Pardon My Take" podcast.
During the appearance, he made it clear that Brady greatly surpassed all of his expectations.
“He just day by day takes incredibly small steps that eventually lead to a high performance. He was our 4th string quarterback, you can’t name another 4th string quarterback in any level of football. That’s how far down her was," Belichick told the podcast's co-hosts, Dan Katz and Eric Sollenberger.
"I brought in Damon Huard because I didn’t think [Tom Brady] was good enough to be the backup… I always say Tom wasn’t great, he wasn’t even really good, but he became great."
Year 1 at UNC was a struggle for Belichick, though he's hoping to make a big-time improvement in Year 2.
