The Indiana Fever once again did not make Caitlin Clark available to speak with the media following a game this week.
After games in Seattle and Portland this week, the Fever did not make their best and most popular player available to speak with the media. Clark had big games against both Portland and Seattle. However, she was not made available to speak to reporters.
There's a lot of talk surrounding the Fever right now, thanks to Sophie Cunningham and her fans. There were pro-Sophie Cunningham rallies held outside of Seattle and Portland's arenas. Cunningham has made it clear that she does not believe that transgender athletes should be allowed to play in women's sports.

The Fever, rather than letting Clark become a part of that circus, opted to keep her away from the press conferences this week.
But Jemele Hill believes the Fever are doing Clark a "disservice."
The former ESPN star sent a clear message to the Fever on social media this week.

Hill believes that, ultimately, the Fever are doing Clark a "disservice."
"Caitlin Clark should not have to answer to something her teammate said. That said, if she is asked the question — a fair one — and opts to say no comment, or I don’t have enough information, or a non-answer, that’s fine, too. Or if she just says what she feels. These teams do their players a disservice by doing things like this because it creates a bigger story. If y’all don’t have her prepped for these moments, what are you even doing?" she wrote.
At a certain point, Clark will have to speak to reporters again. But apparently, not this week.
