Marissa Ayers, the girlfriend of New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart, isn’t afraid to clap back at her critics.
Ayers and Dart went public with their relationship during the 2025 NFL season. It was quite the year – on and off the field – for Dart, who had 2,272 passing yards, 487 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns for the G-Men.
Last week, Ayers and Dart were spotted on the Giants’ practice field sharing an intimate moment. Apparently, that didn’t sit well with a few NFL fans.

During a recent TikTok video, Ayers addressed all the criticism she received for her brief moment with Dart.
“This week [at training camp] it’s just a little more intimate, so, family, girlfriends, [and] wives… Because I’m seeing comments, and it’s like, ‘Why are the girlfriends there?’ It’s to bring the families together. It just kind of gives everyone a chance to meet, hang out and bond and just be a part of it. The kids can go and see their dads, it’s so cute,” Ayers said, via the New York Post.
“They basically practice for 2-3 hours, and you see the players for maybe like 10 minutes… and then they’re back in meetings for the rest of the afternoon and night. It’s not like they’re hanging out. Trust me, they’re locked in. It’s a chance for us to be supportive before the season. Just so much hate online and negative commentary around players.”
Jaxson Dart has made it clear he’ll stand by Marissa Ayers.
While there’s no question Dart is focused on leading the Giants back to respectability, he’s made it clear that he also prioritizes his relationship with Ayers.
“She’s been amazing. I mean, I can’t say good enough things about her,” Dart told PEOPLE. “Things have come around so fast between us. It’s really cool when you have two people who are independent what they do, but at the same time… are each other’s biggest cheerleaders.”
If we had to guess, Ayers will be attending a handful of Giants games this upcoming season.
