As New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart prepares to recover from a serious knee injury for the rest of the 2026 season, he can take solace in knowing that his girlfriend Marissa Ayers will be there supporting him.
In a video on TikTok posted this week, Ayers pledged her support for “her sweet Jax” amid his latest setback. She declared that he is “the most determined and resilient person I know” and was inspired by his efforts.
“It has been an emotional few days. My sweet Jax,” she wrote in the TikTok video. “Your unconditional love and drive for this sport will push you through this temporary pain being away from it. We now place full trust in God to wrap His arms around you to heal your body and lift your spirits.
“The road to recovery begins, and I promise to keep you covered in so much love and prayer through it all. Jax you are the most determined and resilient person I know. You inspire me to show up for myself — my dreams and goals even when it’s difficult.”
A Bitter End to 2026 for Dart
After a promising rookie season where he went 4-8 and showed flashes of brilliance, Dart opened the 2026 season with a huge win over the rival Dallas Cowboys.
Unfortunately, his strong start was cut short in last week’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. He suffered a serious knee injury on a hit and a few days later was ruled out for he remainder of the year.

When Dart finally returns to full health in 2027, he’ll have played only 16 games over two years. He’ll have to have a great season in order to give the Giants a reason to pick up his fifth-year option.
Simply put, he needs to come back better than ever if he wants to have a future in New York.
But at least he’ll have support as he begins the effort.
