Marissa Ayers, the girlfriend of New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart, is having an eventful summer to say the least.
Earlier this month, Ayers and Dart were spotted on the Giants’ practice field sharing an intimate moment. That led to some criticism online, which she addressed in a lengthy video on TikTok.
“This week [at training camp] it’s just a little more intimate, so, family, girlfriends, [and] wives… Because I’m seeing comments, and it’s like, ‘Why are the girlfriends there?’ It’s to bring the families together. It just kind of gives everyone a chance to meet, hang out and bond and just be a part of it. The kids can go and see their dads, it’s so cute,” Ayers said, via the New York Post.
“They basically practice for 2-3 hours, and you see the players for maybe like 10 minutes… and then they’re back in meetings for the rest of the afternoon and night. It’s not like they’re hanging out. Trust me, they’re locked in. It’s a chance for us to be supportive before the season. Just so much hate online and negative commentary around players.”

Even though Dart didn’t play in the Giants’ second preseason game, Ayers made the trip to Hard Rock Stadium to support his squad.
Ayers, who has over 498,000 Instagram followers, wore a red dress that grabbed plenty of fans’ attention.
“Warming up #preseason,” Ayers wrote for her caption.
Year 2 outlook for Jaxson Dart.
Although he didn’t start every game for the Giants as a rookie, Dart still had 2,272 passing yards, 487 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns.
Dart did take a nasty hit during this year’s preseason opener, which led to him taking a trip to the blue medical tent. He later returned to the field and fired a 15-yard touchdown pass to rookie wideout Malachi Fields.
If the Giants are going to be successful this fall, they’ll need Dart to stay healthy.
