Jason Kelce walked away from football in March 2024 after 13 seasons and 193 games, closing out a career that made him one of the most respected offensive linemen of his generation and the emotional center of the Philadelphia Eagles’ line for over a decade.
Retirement, though, hasn’t pulled him out of the public eye. Kelce has stayed a fixture in the NFL conversation through New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and he has built a second career as an ESPN analyst on Monday Night Countdown, where his sense of humor has made him a favorite with viewers.
That same humor is at the center of his latest headline-grabbing appearance. Kelce has found an odd way to weigh in on the water usage tied to AI data centers.
In a new ad from Garage Beer and Liquid Death, he jokes that the millions of gallons these facilities burn through could be replaced with something a little closer to home. NFL fans spent much of Tuesday reacting to it.
“AI data centers waste millions of gallons of water. That’s why Liquid Death and Garage Beer have decided to team up. We want your pee – to cool these data centers.” Kelce said. A disclaimer followed, clarifying that none of it should be taken literally. “The suits want us to tell you to please don’t actually send your pee,” it says.

“I’d pay good money to hear the conversation where he explained this video to Kylie,” one fan commented.
“This is unhinged in the best way possible 🍻,” another wrote.
“This is actually a great idea if it works,” one fan said, while another added, “Tell me, you really enjoyed record this right. Super funny campaign 😂”
“It is so wrong that I sang this jingle for most of my work day!!” Another one shared.
“Classic Kelce man 😂😂😂😂😂😂 can’t get enough of this guy!!! 😂😂😂” One fan couldn’t stop laughing.
The ad shows Kelce appearing to urinate into a jar before explaining the company’s supposed plan to use urine for cooling. Then comes another scene showing a crowd hauling jars of urine into a post office.
He even sings a song asking for “endless gallons of pee” and urges viewers to mail their urine to an AI data center. The campaign dropped Tuesday and is built around promoting Garage Beer, which Kelce co-owns with Travis, alongside Liquid Death’s sparkling energy drinks.
