Laila Hasanovic, the girlfriend of Jannik Sinner, is going viral just a day before the start of the 2026 Australian Open.

Rumors about Hasanovic and Sinner first surfaced during the US Open. It wasn't until late October that he confirmed their romance. The four-time Grand Slam champion gave her a special shoutout after winning the Vienna Open.

"Thank you so much for the support," Sinner said. "The work you put in, the effort. Also, to understand me at times, it is not easy, but thank you for putting in the effort. Everyone here, with family, my girlfriend, friends. To my whole team and also those watching at home. Thank you so much for the support."

Hasanovic, a Danish model with 472,000 Instagram followers, is no stranger to being in the spotlight. Prior to dating Sinner, she was with Formula 1 star Mick Schumacher.

Earlier this week, Hasanovic shared several photos from her latest vacation along with the caption: "a quiet reset in the french alps."

Hasanovic's post included a photo of her sporting a brown swimsuit at the Hôtel Royal in Evian-les-Bains.

All the pressure is on Jannik Sinner.

In 2024, Sinner captured his first Grand Slam title by coming back from two sets down to defeat Daniil Medvedev in the Australian Open final. One year later, Sinner defeated Alexander Zverev in straight sets to successfully defend his crown in Melbourne.

The last player to win the Australian Open three straight times was Novak Djokovic from 2019-2021. It wouldn't surprise us if Sinner accomplishes that feat in the next two weeks.

Oddsmakers currently have Sinner as a -120 favorite to win the Australian Open for the third straight year. He'll face Hugo Gaston in the opening round of the tournament.
