The Tennessee Titans are looking to have a massive season in 2026. If they are going to do so, then Cam Ward will have to be the quarterback that many know he can be, despite being viewed as a third-tier player at the position.
In a recent video that was released on @gmfb on X, former NFL safety Jahleel Addae was quick to share his thoughts on Ward, including a bold statement that he "has all the talent in the world."

"Yeah that's the expectation. He said 'yeah the Super Bowl is the expectation' for it, so when you got a leader of your organization–that is exactly what you want him to say. That should be the benchmark. That's everybody's goal coming into the season, but when you look at him I think the biggest thing for Cam Ward right we know what he can do. He has a little bit of Caleb Williams-esque to him. He is an off-schedule type quarterback; he can make the crazy throws, but I think him commanding the offense with the growth from year one to year two was commanding the offense in a new offensive system under Brian Daboll, who came into Buffalo years ago with a raw Josh Allen, and tightened it up. Tighten up the footwork, tighten up his anticipation, and tighten up his timing. I think that's what they are going to do this year to make sure he has on-schedule throws. Every play doesn't need to be a home run, doesn't need to be miraculous; take what the defense gives you, stay on your feet, keep your feet planted. What I think is the biggest thing with him–protection, right? He got sacked a lot last year. A lot of the time the protection comes from the center when you're a young quarterback, but he has to take the bull by the horns this year, stay after late with the meetings with the offensive line, make sure that they're communicating, making sure they're seeing it all the way, and making sure he is having the offensive line and the running back together in pass protection. I think if he does that, he gives himself a good shot, because he has all the talent in the world," Addae said on Good Morning Football.
The Titans will need Ward at his best if they are going to win football games in 2026. The advice that Addae gave Ward is valid, and he can apply it to his game to polish his traits, especially behind an offensive line still working out its protection issues.
