Brian Thomas Jr. left London without a catch in either of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ two games there, and the bye week hasn’t slowed the trade talk around him. CBS Sports’ Carter Bahns put Thomas on his list of 10 deadline moves that need to happen, sending the 2024 first-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders. It’s a long fall for a receiver who caught 87 passes for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns as a rookie.
Thomas has nine catches for 105 yards and a touchdown on 18 targets through six games. He went 0-for-5 on targets against the Eagles and Texans, and he didn’t play a snap in the second half of the 34-31 loss to Houston, per ESPN’s Michael DiRocco.
Parker Washington owns the targets now

Parker Washington has turned 46 targets into 26 catches, 416 yards and four touchdowns, and he posted an 84.2 grade against Philadelphia, according to PFF. Jakobi Meyers is next with 20 catches for 285 yards, and he graded out at 68.3 against Houston with an 80.2 run-blocking mark, according to PFF. Against the Texans, Thomas played 15 snaps and earned a 41.8 grade on 13 routes, according to PFF, while Josh Cameron played 35.
Trevor Lawrence’s message for his receiver was patience. “I think, for him, just keep playing and let the ball find you,” Lawrence said after the game.
Bahns’ case rests on fit. Las Vegas is 3-3 and short on receiver depth. Thomas is still on his rookie contract, and the Raiders want a No. 1 receiver in place before Fernando Mendoza takes over at quarterback. The ball isn’t finding Thomas in Jacksonville, where Travis Hunter’s London breakout makes the case for more offensive snaps after a touchdown catch and two interceptions on defense, and a potential Parker Washington extension is already a topic.
That leaves the 4-2 Jaguars, who lead the AFC South by two games, with their most productive receiver from 2024 watching from the sideline. Moving Thomas could bring back draft capital or help at a thinner spot, such as the pass-rush help we’ve explored, before the Nov. 10 deadline.
