The last time the Jacksonville Jaguars had consecutive 10-win seasons, they were facing the one franchise that had their number in their sensational 1999 season. We don’t have to relive those times almost three decades ago, but we do have to understand how long it’s been since the Jaguars last had a consistent winner capable of making a deep playoff run. Well, according to The Athletic’s Jacob Robinson’s AFC South predictions, the Jaguars are on track to their second consecutive 10-win season in 2026.
Early Season Gauntlet Not Enough To Derail Playoff Plans
Projected Record: 10-7
Robinson acknowledges the murderer’s row of teams they have to face before their Week 7 bye week. Heading into Denver in week two, follow that up with a four-week gauntlet: The New England Patriots at home, Cincinnati Bengals on the road and back-to-back home games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans.
Despite having enough to win 10 games again, it may not be enough to win the AFC South, not with the Texans and their defense hanging around.
But, you know what they say, once you get into the dance, anything can happen.
