Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens have leaned on Zay Flowers to carry their offense through the first three weeks of the 2026 NFL season, and that reliance faces its latest test when Baltimore hosts the winless Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

The Ravens sit at 2-1 after routing Indianapolis 41-23, dropping a 24-17 home opener to New Orleans and escaping Dallas 34-31 in a wild one in Rio de Janeiro. The numbers explain why he matters so much.

Jackson has posted a 130.8 passer rating in the two games Flowers has played this season, a mark that dropped to 87.4 in the Week 2 loss to New Orleans, when a hamstring injury kept him out and the Ravens blew an 11-point lead late.

He opened the year with 150 yards and a touchdown on five catches against the Colts, then played through that hamstring in Brazil and still added 84 yards against Dallas, including the 27-yard grab that set up Tyler Loop’s 56-yard walk-off field goal.

None of that should be a surprise given what Flowers did a year ago, when he caught 86 passes for 1,211 yards and five touchdowns on his way to a second straight Pro Bowl. He carried a questionable tag into this week after a full practice Thursday and a planned rest day Friday, though he insisted the hamstring felt good.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that Flowers, who was limited in practice this week because of the hamstring, is expected to play against the Titans. That update should come as a relief for a Baltimore offense that has felt his absence in real time whenever he has been off the field.

Flowers isn’t the only name on Baltimore’s injury report. Edge rusher Trey Hendrickson is out after a finger procedure, left tackle Ronnie Stanley is questionable with a toe injury and first-round pick Vega Ioane is set to make his first NFL start at center.

Ioane is moving inside because the Ravens have lost Tyler Linderbaum to the Raiders in free agency, Danny Pinter to a season-ending knee injury, Jovaughn Gwyn to a fractured lower leg and Ethan Pocic to a knee injury.

The Ravens host the 0-3 Titans on Sunday, October 4, at 1 p.m. ET at M&T Bank Stadium, with the game airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
