LA Galaxy has signed Mexican star Hirving 'Chucky' Lozano on loan from San Diego FC. Last week, LA Galaxy announced the signing of the Mexican winger, who joins until the end of the MLS season.
Lozano arrives at the club as a Designated Player through December 2026, and LA Galaxy has a permanent trade option.
Many fans have been waiting to see the Mexican player in action, as he last played in the MLS for San Diego FC last November in the MLS playoffs against the Vancouver Whitecaps, where he scored.

Since then, Lozano has been left out of the squad by San Diego FC head coach Mikey Varas. There have been reports that the reason was a heated exchange between the Mexican player and Varas.
LA Galaxy presented Lozano as the team's new number 11, and he is expected to play for the team soon.
