There is MLS action midweek and tonight; the MLS champions Inter Miami will host New York City FC at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida.
With a few matchdays left in the 2026 MLS season, both teams will look to secure their spot in the playoffs, with Inter Miami a few points away from securing a playoff spot while NYCFC are only one position outside of the playoff positions.
Inter Miami are 2nd in the Eastern Conference with 49 points after 28 matches played. After 28 matches played, NYCFC is 10th with 33 points.
Over the weekend, Inter Miami defeated DC United 4-0 at Nu Stadium with braces from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi. It was Messi’s first appearance since his farewell game for Argentina, which was last week.
