Inter Miami will continue to play at Nu Stadium for the 2026 Leagues Cup as they now host Monterrey CF on Saturday, August 8. It is the first time the two teams have faced off since the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal.
Inter Miami started the 2026 Leagues Cup on a positive note after beating Atletico San Luis 4-2. Lionel Messi scored a brace and provided an assist in the match earlier this week.
However, Messi will not be available Saturday for Inter Miami as the player is reportedly on his way to Rosario, Argentina, to be with his family following the death of his father, Jorge Messi.
Inter Miami will have key players like Casemiro, Rodrigo De Paul, and Micael Silva available to play in the match tonight against Monterrey.
Monterrey played Orlando City at Inter.co Stadium in Orlando, Florida, a few days ago. Monterrey lost the match 2-1, and their new signing Hugo Cuypers scored the only goal for the Mexican side.

In the first leg, Monterrey defeated Inter Miami 2-1 away at Chase Stadium, and in the second leg, Monterrey defeated Inter Miami 3-1 at Estadio BBVA to win 5-2 on aggregate.
