One of the figures of the 2026 MLS All-Star Team is Nashville SC player Hany Mukhtar. Tonight will be his fifth consecutive career MLS All-Star appearance.
Mukhtar arrived at Nashville SC in 2020 and has scored over 100 goals for the club. The German midfielder continues to be fundamental for Nashville, and in the 2026 MLS season so far, Mukhtar has played 17 league games, scoring six goals and providing four assists.
Mukhtar played both of Nashville's first two games back from the two-month break due to the 2026 World Cup. Nashville defeated CF Montreal 1-0 and lost 1-0 to Orlando City.

Hany Mukhtar is 31 years old and was born on March 21, 1995. Mukhtar was born in Berlin, Germany, to a Polish-German mother and a Sudanese father.
Mukhtar never played for the senior Germany national team, but he did represent the youth Germany national teams.
Mukhtar is married to Ashley Gowder, and the couple got married in March 2023 during a private ceremony at Nashville SC's GEODIS Park. The couple met through mutual friends in Nashville, Tennessee.
