Benjamin Satterley was one of those wrestlers who built a reputation long before reaching WWE or AEW. Better known as PAC in All Elite Wrestling and Neville in WWE, the Newcastle upon Tyne native spent more than two decades wrestling around the world and became known for a style built around speed, athleticism and spectacular aerial moves.

Satterley started wrestling professionally in 2004 and worked across the British independent scene, Japan and the United States before signing with the Stamford-based promotion in 2012. His time in NXT turned him into a standout performer, and he later moved to WWE’s main roster, where he became a two-time Cruiserweight Champion. He also won the NXT Championship and NXT Tag Team Championship twice.

He left WWE in 2018 and eventually joined AEW in 2019 as one of the promotion’s early signings. PAC went on to become the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion, a two-time AEW World Trios Champion and a member of Death Triangle before becoming part of the Death Riders. His final AEW run saw him working alongside Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir.

Satterley died at 40 on September 27, 2026, just one day after competing at AEW All Out in Chicago. His death came as a shock to wrestling fans because he had appeared in the ring shortly before All Elite Wrestling announced his passing.

Who Was PAC’s Wife, Natalie Satterley?

PAC married Natalie Satterley in June 2015. The couple kept their relationship out of the wrestling spotlight, and Natalie rarely appeared in public with her husband or discussed their personal life.

There is little reliable information available about Natalie’s background, career, or life outside her relationship with Satterley. The wrestler was similarly private when it came to his family, choosing to keep most of that part of his life separate from his work.

There has also been no reliable public confirmation about whether PAC and Natalie had children.

Who Were PAC’s Parents?

Satterley’s parents were Jill and Stephen Satterley. He was their only child, although he spoke about growing up surrounded by a large and loving family.

Wrestling was not initially something his parents encouraged him to watch. Pac recalled that his parents did not allow WWF programming in their home, but one of his aunts was a wrestling fan and let him watch it at her house.

The Undertaker and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan were among the wrestlers he admired as a child. Long before he entered a wrestling ring professionally, Satterley was also an active youngster who played football, basketball, hockey and roller hockey and took part in swimming.

Where Was PAC From?

PAC was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, on August 22, 1986. Newcastle remained an important part of his identity throughout his career, and WWE regularly presented him as a wrestler from the city.

His athleticism was noticeable from an early age. By 16, Satterley was already taking part in backyard wrestling in Northeast England before making his professional debut on March 27, 2004. His career eventually took him far beyond Newcastle, including major runs in Japan and the United States.

What Was PAC’s Cause of Death?

PAC’s cause of death had not been publicly disclosed by AEW or his family as of September 28, 2026. AEW announced his death but did not provide details about what happened or identify a medical cause.

That information is particularly significant because Satterley had wrestled less than 24 hours before the announcement. Any claims about a specific cause remain unconfirmed unless released by his family or another authoritative source.

What Was PAC’s Last Match?

PAC’s final match took place at AEW All Out on September 26 at the NOW Arena in Chicago. He challenged Andrade El Ídolo for the AEW National Championship in the opening match of the main card, but Andrade won after countering PAC’s Brutalizer submission attempt into a pin.

PAC later returned during the AEW World Championship main event between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay. As a result, his final night in wrestling included both his own championship match and an appearance involving his Death Riders teammate.

PAC’s WWE and AEW Career

Satterley joined WWE in 2012 and initially wrestled as Adrian Neville before shortening the name to Neville. He became NXT Champion and won the NXT Tag Team Championship twice before moving to the main roster.

After leaving WWE, Satterley returned to the independent circuit before signing with AEW in 2019. He became the first AEW All-Atlantic Champion and later held the AEW World Trios Championship twice.

His first Trios reign came with Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix as Death Triangle. Later, PAC became part of the Death Riders, working alongside Moxley, Castagnoli and Yuta.

PAC’s career ended after more than 20 years in professional wrestling, but his work across WWE, AEW and the international wrestling scene left him with a body of work that stretched well beyond his championship record. Away from the ring, he remained considerably more private, particularly when it came to Natalie and the rest of his family.
