One year ago, The Vision looked like WWE's future.
Led by Seth Rollins and featuring Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Paul Heyman, and eventually Logan Paul, the group was presented as the company's next dominant faction. Fast forward to today, however, and the stable has unraveled in dramatic fashion.
Rollins suffered a knee injury. Breakker was sidelined soon after. Reed followed with an injury of his own, while Logan Paul also recently found himself out of action. Heyman has since distanced himself from the group, and The Vision was left entirely off the SummerSlam card.
Still recovering, Bronson Reed made sure his voice was heard Saturday night.
The good news for Reed and the rest of The Vision is that none of these setbacks have to be permanent. For now, Austin Theory appears to be the focal point of the group following his alliance with Maxxine Dupri, while Bron Breakker has looked noticeably disengaged on television. But in WWE, momentum can change overnight with one memorable promo, match or storyline.
As for Bronson Reed, his best move after returning from injury may be striking out on his own. Perhaps he'll even get Limp Bizkit.
