After an injury-disrupted 2025 campaign, Caitlin Clark is set for a highly anticipated return in an Indiana Fever jersey. Her second WNBA season never fully got going; she was limited to just 13 games due to multiple injuries, including quad and groin issues that ultimately shut her down for the year.

Despite the setbacks, Clark still averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game. She led the league in assists before her injury and earned another All-Star selection.

Clark’s return to competitive basketball came on the international stage when she joined Team USA for the FIBA World Cup qualifying tournament. She averaged 11.6 points and 6.4 assists, guiding the United States to a perfect 5-0 record and earning tournament MVP honors. Her playmaking stood out, as she led the competition in assists and controlled the tempo throughout the tournament.

With her third WNBA season approaching, anticipation around Clark continues to build. On Monday, the Fever added to that buzz by releasing a video announcing their 2026 schedule. The clip featured Clark alongside Aliyah Boston during a workout session, offering a glimpse of the team’s core preparing for the upcoming season.

The post quickly drew reactions from fans, many of whom expressed their excitement for Clark’s return to WNBA action.

“The way i get so excited watching these two play basketball. Let's gooooo never. Let's [expletive] go,” said one fan.

“Chills…Fever season actually happening🔥🔥 Admin cooking this off season,” another fan added.

“I can't wait for Caitlin to run the offense. It's gonna be fun! 🔥🔥🔥,” a third fan wrote.

“whew that first game gonna be crazy 🙂↕️,” another fan posted.

“Boston's fadeaway looks beautiful. Caitlin looks like MVP loading,” one fan declared.

“If this was just two minutes of them tying their shoes, would still watch 🤣,” another fan joked.

Even with limited action in 2025, Clark’s popularity has not dipped. She remains one of the most recognizable players in the sport, with her games continuing to draw strong viewership and fan engagement across the league.

Indiana will kick off its 2026 campaign with a home game against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on May 9.
