Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham always keeps her fans posted on things going on in her private life. Cunningham is enjoying her second season with the Fever and has played 39 games, averaging 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 43.4% from three-point range. She has also been an efficient part of Indiana’s rotation, making 63 three-pointers this season.
Away from the court, Cunningham has built a reputation for speaking her mind. Throughout her time in Indiana, she has been outspoken on issues surrounding the WNBA, including criticism of commissioner Cathy Engelbert and her view about protecting women’s sports and young girls.
Cunningham has also made plenty of lighter appearances through her “Show Me Something” podcast and social media, where she has talked about everything from sports and relationships to products she enjoys.

Cunningham recently made another recommendation to her fans during the FIBA break. The 30-year-old posted a video to her Instagram Stories endorsing Weber grills.
“So this is not a paid post or anything, but if you want the best grill, get a Weber grill. I’m telling you, it’s phenomenal,” Cunningham said before encouraging her followers to check out the company’s grills.
Cunningham has made similar recommendations to her audience before. She has enthusiastically unboxed products like SKIMS on her social media pages.
Cunningham is spending the WNBA’s break away from regular-season basketball while the FIBA Women’s World Cup takes place in Berlin. She and the Fever will return Sept. 18 against the Toronto Tempo at Coca-Cola Coliseum.
Indiana enters the final stretch at 26-14 with a playoff berth already secured and four regular-season games remaining. With home-court advantage awarded to the top four seeds in the opening round, Cunningham and the Fever still have plenty to play for when the regular season resumes. Their final four games are against the Toronto Tempo, Washington Mystics and Minnesota Lynx twice.
