Caitlin Clark is putting together the best season of her WNBA career. The Indiana Fever star is averaging 22.1 points, 8.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game, and is leading the league in assists. On Sunday, she erupted for a career-high 37 points and eight 3-pointers against the Chicago Sky.
While Clark continues to make headlines with her play, the Fever star has also remained active away from the court. Her debut signature shoe with Nike is expected to arrive later this year.
Clark has regularly given fans glimpses of the Caitlin 1 and its different designs. The three-time All-Star continues to preview several versions, including the “Friendship Bracelet” edition, which features colorful details and charms inspired by friendship bracelets.

Clark offered fans another look at the sneaker Wednesday, sharing a photo of herself wearing the Nike Caitlin 1 “Friendship Bracelet” on her Instagram Stories. She also revealed a personal detail about the design:
“Btw it comes with a bunch of different charms and you can make it your own.”
The colorway was inspired by Clark’s longtime appreciation for friendship bracelets and her admiration for Taylor Swift. The shoe features colorful beads on its laces, including details referencing Clark and her No. 22.
The Caitlin 1 is Clark’s first true signature shoe with Nike after years of wearing Kobe models during her college and professional career. Nike has built the sneaker around Clark’s playing style, with the shoe featuring Zoom Air Turbo cushioning and an Opticast upper.
Clark’s latest reveal comes as anticipation builds toward the shoe’s release. Nike currently lists the Caitlin 1 as coming soon, with the first widely reported retail release scheduled for October.
