Caitlin Clark and Team USA have officially gone unbeaten in the group phase of the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Berlin, Germany.
The Americans played their third and final game in the group stage against the Czech Republic on Monday, and it resulted in a dominant 105-64 win for Team USA. They closed out the group with a 3-0 record after previous victories over China and Italy.
The Fever took to social media to share an update on Clark’s performance on Monday.

As the post indicates, Clark finished with nine points and a game-high seven assists against the Czech Republic. She came off the bench, but logged a team-high 22 minutes. The three-time WNBA All-Star also added one rebound and one triple.
It was not exactly an awe-inspiring performance from Clark, but it was a far cry from her forgettable outing against Italy on Sunday. Much like the rest of Team USA, Clark struggled in their second game, finishing with just one point, four rebounds and an assist. It was the first time in her career that Clark did not score a single field goal in a game, dating back to her college days with the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Team USA booked an outright spot in the quarterfinals after winning Group D. They will now await the winner of the matchup between Japan and Hungary. Clark and Co.’s next game will be on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Fever are currently 26-14 and are fifth in the WNBA standings. They are still battling for positioning with four games left in the regular season. Indiana can still finish as high as second, as it is currently 3.0 games behind the No. 2 seed Golden State Valkyries.
