Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston is having quite a remarkable season this 2026. The 24-year-old big, who is in Berlin, Germany, to represent Team USA in the FIBA World Cup, is having a career year on both offense and defense with Indiana.
In 36 games played before the WNBA season paused for the World Cup, Boston has averaged 16.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks. Both her points and steals are career-highs, while her blocks are tied for her best in a season.
Boston is also shooting 40.8% from deep, making an average of 1.1 triples on 2.7 attempts. This is also the best mark in her career after failing to even average one 3-pointer per game in her first three seasons in the WNBA.

Considering Boston’s consistently dominant performance, the Fever believe she deserves to get an All-WNBA nod this season. Indiana expressed as much when it promoted the 24-year-old forward on Wednesday.
“Aliyah Boston for All-WNBA…ABsolutely,” the Fever confidently wrote. “AB is averaging a career-high 16.9 PPG & 40.8 3P%, 10 games of 20+ points and recorded 11 double-doubles this season.”
Boston has made the All-WNBA teams once, last season when she was included on the All-WNBA Second Team.
However, she certainly has a case to be among the top 10 players in the league. After all, she’s in the top 15 in scoring in the WNBA, while being in the top 10 in rebounds, steals, blocks and 3-point percentage.
Sure enough, that kind of all-around production is hard to ignore.
