The Indiana Fever are seeking their 25th win of the season and will close a five-game road trip Sunday with another test against the Chicago Sky. But the Fever will have to adjust their frontcourt after losing Aliyah Boston to a right lower-leg injury. Boston played 30 minutes in Saturday’s 109-102 loss to the New York Liberty, finishing with 22 points, six assists and three rebounds.
The absence creates an opportunity for Indiana to change its look against Chicago. Makayla Timpson has started alongside Boston in recent weeks, including the Fever’s 90-86 victory over the Sky on Aug. 8, while Monique Billings had moved to a reserve role.

Stephanie White has decided to turn back to Billings, with the veteran forward set to start Sunday against Chicago. It will put Billings back into the starting five with Boston unavailable.
Billings has been one of Indiana’s regular starters for most of the season, starting 30 of her 37 appearances before moving to the bench when Timpson entered the lineup against Chicago on Aug. 8. She is averaging 7.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocks in 20.0 minutes per game.
Her best performance came against the New York Liberty, when she recorded 15 points and eight rebounds.
With Billings moving back into the starting group, the Fever’s five are Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, Lexie Hull, Billings and Timpson. Clark is listed as probable with a back issue, while Myisha Hines-Allen is questionable with a right shoulder injury.
The Fever enter Sunday at 24-14, while Chicago is 15-22 and has won three straight. The game tips off at 7 p.m. ET at Wintrust Arena and will air on NBC and Peacock.
