Lexie Hull emerged as one of the most reliable pieces for the Indiana Fever during an injury-plagued 2025 campaign. With multiple key players sidelined, including Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham, Hull was one of the few players who remained consistently available, appearing in all 44 regular-season games.
Her presence helped stabilize Indiana through adversity, as the Fever finished 24-20 and advanced to the WNBA semifinals, where they pushed the eventual champion Las Vegas Aces to five games.
Hull averaged 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game in the regular season, all career highs.

In the playoffs, she stepped up further, including a 16-point, 10-rebound performance in the semifinals, and showcased her ability to contribute on both ends during high-pressure moments. Her durability made her one of Indiana’s most dependable two-way players during the difficult stretch.
Following the season, Hull’s rookie contract expired, officially making her a free agent for the first time in her career. As she prepares for her fifth WNBA season, clarity around her future has started to emerge. According to Chloe Peterson of the The Indianapolis Star, the Fever have issued a restricted qualifying offer to Hull, while also extending a core qualifying offer to Kelsey Mitchell.
A restricted qualifying offer allows her to negotiate with other teams, but Indiana retains the right to match any contract she signs, effectively controlling whether she stays or leaves.
The move signals a strong intent to bring Hull back as part of their core. Her chemistry with Clark makes her a valuable complementary piece as the franchise continues to build around its young star.
Hull is not the only priority this offseason. Indiana must also make a decision on Cunningham, who is also a free agent.
