Stephanie White and the Indiana Fever have locked in some key players for the 2026 WNBA season at the start of free agency. They re-signed All-Star Kelsey Mitchell on a one-year, supermax deal, becoming the team's first $1 million player. The Fever also managed to bring back guard Lexie Hull on a multi-year contract, along with guard Sophie Cunningham on a one-year deal.
The Fever have also added former Golden State Valkyries forward Monique Billings, who spent time with Caitlin Clark on Team USA last month. But with the additions come some losses, and on Monday, Indiana lost two players who were on the 2025 squad, including forward Brianna Turner, who signed with the Las Vegas Aces, and guard Shey Peddy, who joined the Connecticut Sun. But the Fever weren't done there.

Myisha Hines-Allen, after spending her college career with the Louisville Cardinals, was selected by the Washington Mystics with the No. 19 pick in the second round of the 2018 WNBA Draft. The forward spent seven seasons in the nation's capital before being traded to the Minnesota Lynx in the middle of 2024, where she played in just 13 games.
Ahead of the 2025 WNBA season, Hines-Allen joined the Dallas Wings on a one-year, $203,000 deal. And while playing in all 40 games, including 20 starts, she averaged 7.6 points on 45.0% shooting, along with 6.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 22.1 minutes per game. But following last season, Hines-Allen saw her deal with the Wings come to an end, becoming an unrestricted free agent.
And on Monday, Hines-Allen decided it was time for a change, joining the Fever on a one-year deal and replacing some of the production lost with Turner’s departure.
"Myisha Hines-Allen is Indiana bound 😤," the Fever wrote on X. "let's give her a warm welcome, Fever fans."
Hines-Allen will open her Fever tenure on Saturday, May 9, taking on Paige Bueckers and the Wings.
