Aliyah Boston recorded 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Indiana Fever on Sunday. Unfortunately, her production was not enough to help the team overcome the Minnesota Lynx, the No. 1 team in the WNBA.
The Fever trailed by as many as 15 points during the game, but despite staging a comeback and cutting the lead down to two with under three minutes left, they couldn't get the job done. Olivia Miles dropped 28 points to lead Minnesota to a 108-100 victory.
While it's a disappointing result for the Fever, especially since it snapped their five-game winning streak, it wasn't without positives.

For one, Boston climbed the Fever scoring ladder during the game. She entered the showdown with 2,239 points in her career, needing just six points to surpass team legend Briann January (2,244) for the fourth-most points in franchise history.
Boston scored her fifth and sixth points of the game early in the second quarter when she drained a turnaround jumper off a Caitlin Clark assist.
The Fever were quick to celebrate her accomplishment, posting on Instagram, "Aliyah Boston is now 4th all-time in scoring in franchise history with 2,245 points and counting."
Boston is just in her fourth year with the team, so already ranking among the franchise's top five scorers speaks volumes about her incredible and consistent production.
The 24-year-old center is now 310 points behind Katie Douglas for the No. 3 spot on Indiana's all-time scoring list. With Boston averaging 16.9 points per game for the Fever, it's unlikely that she will be able to climb any higher this season.
However, at her current pace, Boston should be able to surpass Douglas early in the 2027 campaign.
