The Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese rivalry will reignite on June 4. The Indiana Fever host the Atlanta Dream at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the first matchup between these two teams this season.
This also marks the first time Clark will face Reese following the latter’s blockbuster trade to the Dream during the WNBA offseason.
On Friday, the Fever took to social media to announce their plan for the highly anticipated matchup. This is part of the team’s Theme Nights for the 2026 season.
The Fever will host Pride Night on June 4 as Reese and Co. travel to Indianapolis to face Clark and the Fever.

Pride Night on June 4 will be the Fever’s first theme night outside of opening night. Indiana will play at home to kick off the 2026 season against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on May 9.
Pride Night has been a consistent theme for the Fever through the years. It celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and typically falls within Pride Month in June. Last season, the Fever held Pride Night on June 3 in a home matchup against the Washington Mystics.
This year will be extra special, though. Clark and Reese will renew their personal rivalry on the court following their stint together as teammates for USA Basketball in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament in March.
Reese will look to score her first win against Clark and the Fever now that she’s in a Dream uniform. The Fever, on the other hand, aim to continue their dominance over Reese. Last season, Indiana went 5-0 against Reese’s Chicago Sky.
The Fever and the Dream face off four times in the regular season in 2026. This means, barring any unforeseen injuries, fans will be treated to four Clark vs. Reese showdowns this upcoming season.
After June 4, the Fever will host the Dream again at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on June 18 for Black Excellence Night. This will be followed by two matchups in Atlanta on June 20 and August 16.
