Fans can enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win tickets for the first round of the Indiana Fever’s upcoming playoff run.
The Fever have already clinched a postseason spot. They currently sit at fifth place in the league standings, but they still have a chance to finish in the top four to secure home-court advantage in the opening round.
Although their postseason schedule has yet to be finalized, Indiana is already giving fans a chance to catch some live playoff action at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The team announced the offer on its social media account on Tuesday.
“here’s your chance to be in the house for round 1 of the playoffs 🗣️ enter the #sweepstakes at FeverBasketball.com/Sweepstakes 🙌,” the caption read.
According to the sweepstakes rules, one winner will receive two balcony-level tickets for one playoff game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The final game date will be determined once the playoff seedings are finalized. No purchase is required to enter the sweepstakes.
Indiana is coming off a tough loss to the Washington Mystics on Sunday, absorbing a 93-77 defeat in front of their home fans.
The Fever struggled against the Mystics, shooting just 36.6% from the field and 21.4% from downtown. Head coach Stephanie White and star guard Caitlin Clark said after the loss that they didn’t seem like their usual selves.
Aliyah Boston was in foul trouble for most of the game and picked up her fourth foul in the third quarter, significantly impacting her playing time. Only three Fever players scored double digits: Clark’s 25 points, Kelsey Mitchell’s 22 points, and Makayla Timpson’s 13 points.
This loss hurt the Fever’s bid to finish in the top four. However, they still have a chance to bounce back with two games remaining in the regular season. Their last two contests will be against the league-leading Minnesota Lynx, whom they’ll play on Tuesday and Thursday.
