Stephanie White and the Indiana Fever will look to get back on track on Saturday, facing Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty in the fourth of a five-game road trip. The Fever have started the trip with a 2-1 record, most recently falling to Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings 91-85 on Thursday, dropping to 24-13 on the 2026 WNBA season.
Boston is having a career year during her fourth season with Indiana. The former South Carolina Gamecocks forward is averaging a career high of 16.9 points on 52.3% shooting, adding 8.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists as well.
She has also been available for most of the Fever’s games this year, playing in 34 of 37. However, the three she has missed have all been due to the same lingering lower right leg issue.

Boston injured her leg in February during the second season of the 3-on-3 Unrivaled league. Due to the lingering leg issue, the forward was forced to miss the May 17 win over the Seattle Storm and the July 8 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks, along with the July 17 win over the Storm.
But Boston later re-aggravated the injury on July 28, again against Seattle, leading to frequent appearances on the Fever’s injury report, where she was typically listed as probable. However, before the Wings matchup, Indiana removed Boston from its injury report, only to list her as questionable ahead of Saturday’s game.
And before the Liberty game, White announced that she planned on playing Boston on Saturday, barring any unforeseen setbacks. Sure enough, Boston was placed in her typical spot among the Fever’s starting five.
“Stephanie White anticipates that Aliyah Boston will play tonight, barring a setback in warmups,” Forbes’ Tony East wrote on X.
Following the Liberty game, the Fever will be back in action on Sunday, facing the Chicago Sky at 7 p.m. ET.
