The Indiana Fever have been one of the hottest teams in the WNBA this season, thanks in large part to the remarkable performances of Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell.
Clark is third in the WNBA in scoring with 22.1 points and second in assists with 8.3 dimes per game. Meanwhile, Mitchell is second in the league in points at 24.8 and leads in 3-point percentage at 45.5%.
With the two leading the way, the Fever boast a 25-14 record, good for fifth in the WNBA standings. The team is also still in contention to finish in the top three.
Now, the Fever are set to play their final game on Friday before the WNBA takes a break to give way to the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Germany. Indiana is scheduled to face the Connecticut Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Indiana Fever’s Pink for Purpose Night: National Anthem Singer and More
To make the showdown more special, the Fever have a theme night planned: the Pink for Purpose Night. With the initiative, Indiana looks to raise funds for breast cancer prevention in the state.
Aside from auctioning an autographed shooting shirt and ball from Caitlin Clark, as well as game-worn gear from other Fever players, the Fever also have other events and merchandise for sale throughout the day.
Furthermore, the Fever tapped Broadway icon Sylvia McNair to perform the national anthem before the game.
The 70-year-old music legend, a two-time Grammy Award winner, is also a breast cancer survivor. That said, the initiative hits close to home for her.
At halftime, healthcare provider Ascension St. Vincent will have a parade to recognize more than 40 breast cancer survivors.
Sure enough, it will be an eventful day and game for the Fever and the Indiana faithful before the team takes a long break.
